Designed to be worn on its own in hot weather with No Jacket Required, the Urbane Pro Mk2 is the ultimate lightweight, breathable, impact and abrasion-resistant motorcycle armoured shirt.

CE approved as a standalone “Class AA” garment with approved abrasion resistance built in, meaning an outer shell is no longer necessary unless you want to wear one.

The Men’s Urbane Pro Mk2 has taken another huge leap forward in performance for 2021, going from a Class A garment designed for hot weather riding, to the higher-Class AA, which is a class normally reserved for tough textile or leather jackets.

This improved technical performance of the Urbane Pro Mk2 comes at no loss of breathability or extra weight. The shirt's design aesthetic, abrasion resistance, superior stretch comfort, lightweight and breathability remain intact.

Designed to be the most versatile, CORE garment for any rider, no matter what motorcycle they ride. Worn close to the body, the armour stays in place and won’t move around.

Do I have to wear a motorcycle jacket on top of an armored shirt ?

Armored shirts offer, as the name implies, sufficient protection and can therefore be worn as a stand-alone motorcycle garment. In fact, armored shirts are worn directly on the body, so you can wear any layer of your choice on top of the Armored shirt, this could be for layers purely for style or to protect you from the elements.

Is a protective vest specifically for the summer?

No, the vests are designed as a versatile, protective motorcycle garment and can be worn all year round. But because they are almost always entirely made from a abbrasion-resistant mesh, they can be worn and are in fact ideal for hot summer days.

What is the advantage of a protection vest?

In contrast to normal jackets, the protection is, as it were, directly on the skin. This ensures that the protection stays in place and has much less chance of shifting around while on the bike.
