Dainese G. Tempest D-Dry: keep dry in style
If you ride the year round then the Dainese G. Tempest has everything you need. Made out of Duratex fabric and featuring Dainese’s very own waterproof D-Dry membrane, this jacket is to four-season riders what a bomb-proof vest is to the explosives disarmament brigade, indispensable. Tempest D-dry, another marvelous masterpiece by Italian motor gear manufacturer Dainese.
The Dainese Tempest D-Dry Jacket offers extensive protection against the elements, starting with its idraflap fasteners that fold into the jacket, forcing the water to channel away from your body rather than into it. Not only is this jacket made waterproof through the implementation of Dainese’s own removable D-dry membrane, the Tempest’s Duratex outer shell is also water-repellent. But a four-season jacket without temperature control is like a motorcycle without tires, it just doesn’t work. That is why Dainese added a removable thermal liner to its Tempest D-Dry jacket. With this feature Dainese enabled riding during those cold winter months, but what if you especially like cruising the streets from May to August? To enable comfortable in temperatures Dainese added Front air vents and rear air-extractors, hidden in zipper compartments. Open the air vents or add a thermal liner, with Dainese’s Tempest D-Dry your ride is comfortable no matter what the temperature is like. Dainese’s Tempest D-Dry jacket protects its wearer with protectors made out of a composite material. These protectors are approved to the “EN 1621.1” standard, which once again proves that Dainese is the brand that can keep you safe on the road. If these protectors don’t offer you enough protection, you can insert a Dainese G1 or G2 back protector into the pockets especially crafted for this purpose(protectors not included). Dainese added a 360 degree zipper along the bottom of this jacket. With this connection zipper the Tempest D-Dry jacket can be zipped to your pair of Dainese trousers. Through this jacket-pants fastening system air infiltration is eliminated while ensuring a perfect fit at the same time. Dainese’s G.Tempest D-Dry Jacket can be adjusted at the collar, wrist and waist, as well as at the sleeves of the jacket. In order to ensure riders remain visible at night, the jacket comes with reflective inserts on the chest, back and wrists.
