What exactly is a monoblock caliper?

A monoblock caliper has a solid one piece construction where the pistons are fixed and move towards each other. This provides extra stiffness to the caliper, so that no flex occurs during braking. This gives you maximum braking performance and feeling.

How do I know if these calipers fit my bike?

The Brembo calipers we sell come in two different mounting distances: 100mm and 108mm. 100mm calipers will fit most European motorcycles (BMW, Ducati, KTM, Aprilia etc.) and 108mm will fit most Japanese motorcycles (Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki).

What else should I pay attention to when purchasing these calipers?

Some motorcycles require a set of spacers to be placed between the front fork and the brake caliper this would ensure that the pads are properly seated on the brake disc. In addition, you must pay attention that the angle / location of the banjo bolt in front of the brake line fits well with your brake lines.
