In terms of thermal isolation, this jacket is equipped with a Detachable, Thermal (bodywarmer) inner lining. When it comes to ventilating properties, this jacket is equipped with No active ventilation.

What is the advantage of laminated waterproof membrane?

A laminated membrane ensures that the outer layer of the jacket cannot absorb water. As a result, the jacket will dry faster after a rain shower, and the climate in the jacket remains more pleasant: the outer layer isn't heavy and soaked full of cold water as is the case with a 3-layer system.
