A Pinlock® lens is made to enjoy a fog-free ride. It is based on two key principles to ensure a fog-free vision. The moisture absorbing surface of the lens effectively attracts and stores water molecules, while the airtight seal creates a thermal barrier together preventing condensation of the visor. The system is kept in place by positioning the lens between two adjustable pins, making Pinlock the number one anti-fog solution for helmets

Pinlock MaxVision

MaxVision™ offers wide-screen fog-free vision that maximizes the field of vision. When fitted the MaxVision™ Pinlock® lens integrates with the visor. This is due to the special recess area that is designed in the visor.

Pinlock XLT

Pinlock® XLT® lenses allow for a higher light transmittance across the broad spectrum of the visual light. Colors appear brighter and more natural. Our XLT® lenses can be used during daytime and nighttime in compliance with the ECE 22.06 helmet standard. XLT® lenses can be recognized by the Pinlock® XLT® lens logo. The logo is printed on the left side of the lens (front view).

Performance level

There’s not just one lens. Pinlock® lenses are available in three different performance levels: 30, 70 and 120. The number symbolizes the level of fog resisting performance.

Pinlock 120 [anti-fog performance = 120]

¿Para qué sirve un Pinlock?

Un Pinlock evita la formación de condensación de dos maneras. Entre la visera y el Pinlock hay una capa de aire, por lo que se obtiene el principio del doble acristalamiento. Además, el propio Pinlock está fabricado con un plástico que absorbe la humedad para que la humedad de su respiración no afecte al propio Pinlock, de modo que tenga una visión perfecta en todas las condiciones meteorológicas.

¿Cómo instalo un Pinlock en mi casco?

Para instalar el Pinlock tendrá que quitar la visera del casco. El Pinlock se sujeta entre los dos pines que se ven en el lado izquierdo y derecho del visor. El borde de silicona del Pinlock debe estar contra el visor. Para meter el Pinlock entre los pines hay que doblar un poco la visera para que el Pinlock pueda encajar.

¿Es un Pinlock compatible con cualquier casco?

Cada vez es más frecuente que los cascos estén equipados con una visera preparada para Pinlock o incluso que se suministren con Pinlock. Sólo un visor con 2 pines (uno izquierdo y otro derecho) es adecuado para un Pinlock.

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre un Pinlock y un Pinlock MaxVision?

En términos de funcionamiento son iguales, pero un Pinlock MaxVision cae en un hueco en la visera del casco, lo que hace que tenga una mayor superficie y le da una mejor visibilidad.
