The SP-X BOA Boots are a sleek sport boot designed to fit under tech riding pants and provide superior walking capability. Optimized for the sport and sport touring rider, the SP-X BOA Boots are compact, mid-height boots with premium levels of protection and comfort on and off the bike. The upper is constructed from a combination of advanced microfiber, ultra-soft Rideknit® material and knitted mesh, plus seamless thermo-welded parts. The lower features a TPU heel counter, toe slider, and the Alpinestars TPF Transversal Protection Frame on the sole, allowing for high levels of protection against impacts and any bending or twisting. Additionally, the sole also features an all-new design with an asymmetric back heel to facilitate the rider’s natural stride and promote off-bike stability. For protection, the SP-X BOA Boots have an integrated shin impact protector, dual-density ankle discs, plus TPU shift pad and toe slider reinforcement. And for comfort, the knitted areas on the front and back flex points offer great freedom of movement, while the PU midsole with integrated double cushioned heel compound and removable OrthoLite® insock, provide great walking comfort. In and out is facilitated by a medial zip combined with the BOA speed lace system for compact and precise closure. The SP-X BOA Boots are perfect for those sport riders looking for coverage and protection but without the full race boot, and an over the pant look.

Each brand has its own distinctive fit, which can vary in width and shape. Below is a small overview of the more popular brands and their general fit:
Not always. The idea that you should always choose a size larger for motorcycle boots is somewhat of a fable. It is actually important to look carefully at the size chart of the particular brand. Although there are some exceptions, the general rule is that you should be guided by the brand's size chart. However, it is important to note that the Sidi brand generally runs smaller. So if you choose Sidi motorcycle boots, it may be wise to go one size larger than your normal shoe size. If you fall between two sizes according to the size chart, we recommend choosing the larger size. It is better to have a little more room than to wear boots that are too tight, as tight boots can cause discomfort while riding.
There are roughly three main types of motorcycle boots: ventilated boots, non-ventilated/non-waterproof boots and waterproof boots. Each type of boot has its own specific characteristics and is suitable for different conditions.
On our website, most boots and shoes are listed in European sizes. However, there are some exceptions, such as Alpinestars sneakers/shoes and motocross boots, which are sold in American sizes.
