    Motorcycle locks

    What motorcycle locks are there?

    At ChromeBurner, we offer two types of locks. There are disc locks and chains locks. Both serve different purposes.

    Disc locks

    The most convenient way to secure your motorcycle is with this type of lock. It makes sure that your front wheel isn’t going anywhere. How? As the name suggests a disc lock will be attached to the brake disc, so the wheel can’t make the full round as it normally will do. Just a little note: Don’t forget that you’ve put the lock on your bike, or it will destroy your front forks! We advise you to use the reminder cord that runs from your lock to your handlebars to notify you that you have to unlock the security. This way of securing your motorcycle is handy when you quickly want to secure your bike when you’re taking a break from riding and going into town. Just put the lock in your bag and take it anywhere with you!

    Chain locks

    Heavy duty way of securing your precious motorcycle. Just put the chain through a strong part of your motorcycle and through a ground anchor and no one will even try to steal your motorcycle. If a ground anchor isn’t available, a lamppost or fence will do the trick too. To secure your bike even more, cover it with one of our motorcycle covers! It will even keep your bike protected against the weather and dust!
