The Alpinestars Tech 10 is the boot of choice for MXGP riders. Offering ultimate durability and protection for those who take motocross seriously. Every component of the Tech 10 has been continuously developed and tested in racing for uncompromised performance. The front and rear sliding blades help create a perfect anatomical fit and guarantee freedom of movement in the lateral direction while preventing unwanted rotation and stress. Extensive TPU protection on toes, foot, heel, ankle, calf and shin with extra hard compounds on the toe-box will absorb any impact from any direction for maximum protection. The innovative self-aligning buckles are constructed of heavy duty materials and are easily adjustable and replaceable.
But the real eye catcher is on the inside of the boot. The Tech 10 comes with an inner ankle brace system for maximum protection of your feet. This brace gives greater impact protection of the ankle and progressively absorbs flex and rotation stress, reducing pressure and hyperextension injury to the lower leg joints.

What is the fit of these boots?

The fit of boots differs per type, but we can say that each brand has its own (rough) fit. For example, Sidi boots and shoes are quite narrow and Alpinestars is quite wide. Dainese and Forma are exactly in between in terms of fit.

Do I always have to order motorcycle boots one size larger?

This is a well-known fable, which in our opinion is really completely false. We recommend using the size chart supplied by the manufacturer the find out which size to order. There is Always one exception of course, it is true for Sidi boots that they are quite small. It can sometimes be smart to order them one size larger (especially if you fall in between sizes on the size chart).

What kind of boots do I need for which season?

With boots, a distinction is made in roughly 3 types; ventilated, not ventilated and not waterproof, and waterproof. Ventilated boots are perfect for the summer. Non-ventilated boots are good to use in midseason and waterproof boots are of course perfect for the rain, whatever the season. Note: there are no typical "winter boots" that are extra warmly lined! You will have to solve this yourself with warm socks.

Are these boots European sizes or American sizes?

Most of the boots and shoes on our website are listed in European sizes. Exceptions are, for example, the Alpinestars sneakers / shoes and motocross boots. These are sold in US sizes. Have a good look at the size chart to see how the US and EU sizes relate to each other.
