Meet the Afterburn H2O Ladies jacket. Created with a female-specific fit, this Sport-inspired Urban jacket has clean lines, a timeless look, and all the right safety components that help riders stay safe. SEESMART™ CE-rated armor comes standard at the elbows and shoulders, while there’s also an option to upgrade the safety element by adding our CE-level 2 SEESOFT™ back protector insert. The hydratex®|mesh G-liner ensures a dry arrival at your destination while the climate control comes from the option to take out the thermal liner and open the ventilation zippers. Furthermore, the incorporated connection zipper makes sure you can fasten the Afterburn H2O Ladies jacket onto virtually any REV’IT! trousers, including our riding jeans when using one of our Safeway belts. For added convenience and style, the Afterburn H2O Ladies comes with a detachable hood.

What is the advantage of laminated waterproof membrane?

A laminated membrane ensures that the outer layer of the jacket cannot absorb water. As a result, the jacket will dry faster after a rain shower, and the climate in the jacket remains more pleasant: the outer layer isn't heavy and soaked full of cold water as is the case with a 3-layer system.

What is the advantage of a jacket with a removable thermal lining and waterproof membrane?

Such a 3-layer system gives you a very versatile jacket that you can wear in any season. With both the waterproof and thermal liner removed you have maximum ventilation, with only the waterproof liner it is perfect for spring and autumn and with the thermal liner it is nice and warm on the cold days.

What protection is included in this jacket?

On the "additional information" tab we have indicated for each jacket which protectors are present and whether they are CE level 1 or 2.

What is the difference between the different jackets in terms of fit?

The fit of a jacket must match the sitting position on your motorcycle. For example, a sporty jacket is preformed for a sporty posture, and a touring jacket is more suitable for an upright sitting position. A sporty jacket is often tighter with regard to aerodynamics, where a touring jacket is a bit looser for more comfort and room for extra layers against the cold.
