Troy Lee Designs D4 Carbon MIPS Torched Downhill Helmet

Engineered for uncompromising gravity performance, the D4 sets the benchmark in downhill and BMX racing. Designed with a relentless focus on protection, low weight, and premium materials, this full-face helmet combines advanced impact management with race-proven ergonomics. The integrated Mips® C2 rotational impact protection system, energy-absorbing EPP-lined chin bar, and anatomically shaped 3D cheek pads with Emergency Release System (EQRS) highlight the D4’s purpose-built approach to elite-level competition and rider safety.

  • Mips® C2 rotational impact protection system to help reduce rotational forces during angled impacts
  • Three outer shell sizes with graduated padding options for true incremental sizing
  • Removable and washable X-Static® / XT2 comfort liner with moisture-wicking properties
  • 3D cheek pads with Emergency Release System (EQRS) for quick removal in emergency situations
  • Independently mounted precision headliner with seven anchor points for a dialed fit
  • Redesigned EPS head structure for improved impact performance in critical zones
  • EPP Collarbone Impact System with relieved lower edge to help reduce forces to the collarbone and shoulders
  • Front ventilation system featuring high-strength polymer grille, side Power Grid mesh, and a total of 24 intake and exhaust ports
