With the win of the 2022 edition of the Bol d'or still fresh in the memory, ChromeBurner RAC41 Honda is looking back on a successful year on the sporting front. Good points were scored and the party was complete at the final race at Paul Ricard when victory was taken in the SST standings. The sky-high ambition for 2023 and the optimal cooperation in recent years have ensured that for 2023 and 2024 ChromeBurner will again attach its name to the RAC41 World Endurance Team with the same riders.
For 2023, the team name of the French Honda team RAC41 in the World Endurance Championship has been changed to ChromeBurner RAC41 Honda. Title sponsor ChromeBurner has extended the collaboration for two years as has Wayne Tessels who will also race for the team in 2023 and 2024. The rider lineup remains the same as 2022 when ChromeBurner RAC41 Honda won the Bo d'Or in the Superstock class. That means Chris Leesch of Luxembourg and Jonathan Hardt of France will also remain with the team.
For the Superstock class, the 2023 World Endurance calendar consists of three 24-hour races: Le Mans (April 15-16), Spa Francorchamps (June 17-18) and the Bol d'Or at Paul Ricard (September 16-17). Due to the successes of recent years, Honda is going to provide even more support for ChromeBurer RAC41 in 2023. In addition, the French team is continuing to develop behind the scenes with, among other things, the arrival of its own workshop, an additional technical trailer and they will start with Leesch in the French Superbike Championship in order to be even better prepared for the World Endurance events. At the end of February Tessels and his teammates will test in Spain and at the end of March the official World Cup Endurance test in Le Mans is scheduled.
