    Offroad motorcycle boots

If you prefer sand over tarmac, and dirt over cobblestone roads, you are most likely in need of a pair of sturdy offroad motorcycle boots. From your toes up to your knees, offroad and motocross boots provide the best possible protection thanks to extensive use of sturdy and strong materials.

What makes offroad motorcycle boots so special?

In one word: protection. All motorcycle footwear products offer a certain degree of protection, but offroad and motocross boots are the epitome of protection. The main construction is much sturdier than regular motorcycle boots and they are usually clad with extra features to keep your feet and legs as safe as possible. You will find reinforced soles to prevent your feet from flexing too much, extra strong toe and heel boxes and a large impact absorbing plate on the shin area. Apart from these features, most motocross boots also feature extensive ankle protection to prevent twisting and injuries to one of the most vulnerable parts of your lower body. Some boots feature an outside ankle brace mechanism that will prevent your feet from rotating in any direction they shouldn’t, without preventing lateral movement which you do need to operate the shift lever and brake pedal and shift your body weight around on the bike. Other boots feature an inner booty system for even more security! The choice is yours!

Which offroad boots should I get?

You should take a few things in consideration when choosing your new pair of offroad boots. The most important is always going to be fit. Especially when riding offroad, your feet and legs are working hard and are constantly moving. A boot that doesn’t fit, will cause you a lot of grief. The different brands of offroad boots we sell tend to have a different fit so choose wisely! The next thing is going to be safety: how safe do you want your feet to be? Simply put; the more protection an offroad boot provides, the stiffer it will be. If you’re riding motocross or (semi-)professional enduro races, you will probably gravitate towards safety over comfort. But if you’re a novice rider, or if you’re looking at offroad boots for some more serious offroad adventure riding, you might be off the bike a lot more and need some walking comfort as well. For those riders, stepping down a notch towards the middle segment of our selection is probably best. The last thing you should be looking at are the possibilities the boot offers you. For example, some Sidi boots ranges feature replaceable soles which allow you to customize your boots for MX, Enduro, Adventure Touring and even Supermoto racing. If you’re a rider who likes to have one pair of boots for different types of riding, these are definitely worth taking a look at!
