A Pinlock® lens is made to enjoy a fog-free ride. It is based on two key principles to ensure a fog-free vision. The moisture absorbing surface of the lens effectively attracts and stores water molecules, while the airtight seal creates a thermal barrier together preventing condensation of the visor. The system is kept in place by positioning the lens between two adjustable pins, making Pinlock the number one anti-fog solution for helmets
There’s not just one lens. Pinlock® lenses are available in three different performance levels: 30, 70 and 120. The number symbolizes the level of fog resisting performance.
Pinlock 70 [anti-fog performance = 70]
The original Pinlock® lens. Two decades of fine tuning resulted in the perfect lens for daily commutes and weekend rides. Available in combination with MaxVision™ technology for stunning wide view.

A Pinlock ensures that you are condensation free in two ways. The Pinlock creates a layer of air between the visor and the Pinlock, which gives you the principle of double glazing. In addition, the Pinlock itself is made of a moisture-absorbing plastic so that the moisture from your breath does not fog up the Pinlock itself, so that you have perfect vision in all weather conditions.
To install the Pinlock you will have to remove the visor from the helmet. The Pinlock is clamped between the two pins that you can see on the left and right in the visor. The silicone edge of the Pinlock must be against the visor. To get the Pinlock between the pins, you have to flatten the visor a bit so that the Pinlock fits in between.
It is almost becoming the norm for helmets to be fitted with a Pinlock-ready visor or even to be supplied with a Pinlock. To check if your helmet is Pinlock-ready, simply look for 2 pins one on the left and one on the right.
In terms of operation they are the same, but a MaxVision Pinlock falls into a recess in the visor of the helmet, which allows it to have a larger surface and you have better visibility.
