Each brand has its own distinctive fit, which can vary in width and shape. Below is a small overview of the more popular brands and their general fit:
Not always. The idea that you should always choose a size larger for motorcycle boots is somewhat of a fable. It is actually important to look carefully at the size chart of the particular brand. Although there are some exceptions, the general rule is that you should be guided by the brand's size chart. However, it is important to note that the Sidi brand generally runs smaller. So if you choose Sidi motorcycle boots, it may be wise to go one size larger than your normal shoe size. If you fall between two sizes according to the size chart, we recommend choosing the larger size. It is better to have a little more room than to wear boots that are too tight, as tight boots can cause discomfort while riding.
There are roughly three main types of motorcycle boots: ventilated boots, non-ventilated/non-waterproof boots and waterproof boots. Each type of boot has its own specific characteristics and is suitable for different conditions.
On our website, most boots and shoes are listed in European sizes. However, there are some exceptions, such as Alpinestars sneakers/shoes and motocross boots, which are sold in American sizes.
