The Afterburn H2O is the perfect example of a garment that mixes up the Sport and Urban vibe to become the perfect everyday riding jacket. The hydratex®|mesh G-liner ensures a dry arrival at your destination, while a detachable thermal liner and ventilation zippers allow for climate control depending on the temperature. Our ultra-thin, yet motorcycle-ready CE-rated SEESMART™ armor comes standard at the shoulders and elbows, and the safety quotient can be upgraded by installing our CE-level 2 SEESOFT™ back protector insert. With two front pockets and an inner pocket, the Afterburn H2O jacket allows you to keep your essentials close, and the incorporated connection zipper allows you to zip the jacket into virtually any REV’IT! trousers, even our riding jeans when using our Safeway belt.

What is the advantage of laminated waterproof membrane?

A laminated membrane ensures that the outer layer of the jacket cannot absorb water. As a result, the jacket will dry faster after a rain shower, and the climate in the jacket remains more pleasant: the outer layer isn't heavy and soaked full of cold water as is the case with a 3-layer system.

What is the advantage of a jacket with a removable thermal lining and waterproof membrane?

Such a 3-layer system gives you a very versatile jacket that you can wear in any season. With both the waterproof and thermal liner removed you have maximum ventilation, with only the waterproof liner it is perfect for spring and autumn and with the thermal liner it is nice and warm on the cold days.

What protection is included in this jacket?

On the "additional information" tab we have indicated for each jacket which protectors are present and whether they are CE level 1 or 2.

What is the difference between the different jackets in terms of fit?

The fit of a jacket must match the sitting position on your motorcycle. For example, a sporty jacket is preformed for a sporty posture, and a touring jacket is more suitable for an upright sitting position. A sporty jacket is often tighter with regard to aerodynamics, where a touring jacket is a bit looser for more comfort and room for extra layers against the cold.
