SPIDI Sigma: the urban commuting motorcycle coat studied for women, combining high thermal insulation and extreme lightness. The 3-layer laminated outer fabric with H2Out® waterproof and breathable membrane has the advantage of being very comfortable, allowing this jacket to be worn over casual clothes. The detachable inner thermal jacket makes Sigma perfect for both winter and spring use. The jacket is CE prEN 17092-2:2017 Class A certified thanks to the standard Warrior Light protectors on shoulders and elbows. Level 1 and Level 2 Warrior back protectors are available as options.
A laminated membrane ensures that the outer layer of the jacket cannot absorb water. As a result, the jacket will dry faster after a rain shower, and the climate in the jacket remains more pleasant: the outer layer isn't heavy and soaked full of cold water as is the case with a 3-layer system.
Such a 3-layer system gives you a very versatile jacket that you can wear in any season. With both the waterproof and thermal liner removed you have maximum ventilation, with only the waterproof liner it is perfect for spring and autumn and with the thermal liner it is nice and warm on the cold days.
On the "additional information" tab we have indicated for each jacket which protectors are present and whether they are CE level 1 or 2.
The fit of a jacket must match the sitting position on your motorcycle. For example, a sporty jacket is preformed for a sporty posture, and a touring jacket is more suitable for an upright sitting position. A sporty jacket is often tighter with regard to aerodynamics, where a touring jacket is a bit looser for more comfort and room for extra layers against the cold.
